Aeviya vs. Alex: the interview, or the whole recruiting motion?
Reviewed October 18, 2026
Written by Aeviya from the product sources below. This is not an independent performance test.
Alex, from Apriora, presents itself as one AI recruiter: résumé screening, live two-way interviews, identity and fraud checks, and scheduling. Alex says scores, transcripts, and outcomes sync to supported ATS products, and it lists Workday, Greenhouse, and Lever among them.
Aeviya runs the structured interview and the shortlist. It does not check a government ID, and it does not write status back to Greenhouse, Workday, or Lever. Choose Alex when that end-to-end agent is what you are buying.
Compare the screening workflow
Interview formats
Aeviya
Structured text, phone, and video interviews. The AI conducts the interview.
Alex (Apriora)
A live two-way AI interview, plus résumé screening. Alex also describes identity checks, a live selfie, and fraud or cheating flags before a recruiter spends time.
Scoring and review
Aeviya
Scores answers against the criteria for that job, then ranks applicants with the evidence behind the score. People make the hiring decision.
Alex (Apriora)
Alex combines résumé signals, the interview, and verification into what it calls a Candidate Blueprint. The team is meant to stay in the loop.
ATS and the rest of hiring
Aeviya
Export resumes from your ATS and bulk upload them. Export results as CSV. There is no native Greenhouse, Workday, or Lever connector, and application status does not sync back automatically.
Alex (Apriora)
Alex says it integrates with 33 applicant tracking systems and writes scores, transcripts, and outcomes back. It also books candidates who qualify.
Pricing
Aeviya
First job has no job fee. Additional jobs are $1,500 each, about 100 AI interviews. Finalist activation is $500. Professional is $1,199 per month. Enterprise is custom.

What Aeviya brings to your screening process
Aeviya runs the first structured interview and turns the answers into a shortlist your team can review.
- 1
Define what a strong candidate looks like
Set the skills and evidence that matter for the role. Aeviya uses those criteria for the interview and the scores.
- 2
Let candidates complete the interview
Applicants take a structured interview by text, phone, or video, without a recruiter on the first call.
- 3
Review a shortlist with the reasoning
Aeviya ranks completed interviews and shows the evidence behind each score. Your team decides who to meet next.
Which fits your team?
Why choose Aeviya?
Choose Aeviya when you want every applicant to take a structured text, phone, or video interview, then review a ranked shortlist against criteria you set. Published job and activation fees are on the site.
When to evaluate Alex (Apriora)
Choose Alex when you want one agent to screen, interview, verify identity, schedule, and write the result into an ATS it already supports. Aeviya leaves scheduling, ID checks, and ATS write-back out of the product.
What to know before you start
- Plan for a manual ATS workflow: export resumes for bulk upload, then export a CSV when you need results back in your system. Status does not sync automatically.
